Come on then lets have it out, what is wrong? what is right? if you dont like it help change it, but remember you cant please everybody and you should be open to the fact that people want different things
You can get away with quite a lot on here I have found, to it’s advantage and commendation, and always within reason. Other places, people are right uppity and report you at a moments notice…lol. So, just get on with it. Surely it only forms a minor part of anyone’s existence, doesn’t it? It’s what you make it and we’re all just a bunch of anonymities ultimately, no matter how high and mighty and aloof some might seem to be.
Also, I don’t believe anyone, absolutely no one, should feel intimidated to join a discussion, any discussion, even if your interest is only in passing. Nothing wrong with some occasional daftness and British eccentricity either –

), I don’t think there’s anything wrong with eccentricity period. What puzzles me is the point of this thread. Is there anything wrong with TRF, that the termination (preferably with extreme prejudice) of the Flat season won’t put right?

I actually think that the forum is getting better and I like the new folk who have joined since the re-vamp. No problems here !!

Modesty prevents me from telling you that I’ve littered this neck of the Internet-woods with hundreds of ill-advised posts over the last 4-5 years…………..its only the incompetence of the mysterious "McCormack" that has knocked me down to Listed level (or wherever I’m at right now).
Regardless, I have two observations.
One. If you start a thread suggesting that the forum is headed downhill after only 185 posts, then surely it is to be expected that those with longevity here will tell you you’re talking pi*sh.
Two. Stop talking pi*sh, and it will all work out in the end.

Can you name a forumite who has rubbished your opinions on here solely because you (or anyone else) is a "newbie"? (And not because they simply disagree with your opinions.)
All the regular posters on here have – at some time or other – rubbished posts of mine – simply because they disagree with what I’ve had to say. Some do it more "colourfully" than others. But I’m not aware of anyone slagging off someone merely because they’re newcomers.

You’re ability to use a keyboard is as relevant as someone doing it 40 years.
What is not relevant, is your assertion that TRF is bombing downhill, on the strength of your 6 week tenure. That is all that has been contested here.
