About an unjabbed man who didn’t make the grade….
BB News reports unusual and earth shattering news around the world…
The Times header deals with doctors’ and nurses’ anger at the 90% of Covid patients requiring specialist care beds being the unjabbed. The unjabbed by their selfishness are preventing queuing cancer patients from having essential life saving operations.
Oh dear Tank and Ricky WHAT HAVE YOU DONE or, more appropriately, not done ?
For many years, even pre-Covid, some have argued free NHS care should not be available to those with manifestly self-inflicted illness.
But whether you’re a smoker, drinker, drug taker, obese, or someone who refuses a Covid jab, you might well have still paid your taxes all these years and thus feel entitled to free care.
It is surely a fact that those who behave irresponsibly place a disproportionate, hence arguably unfair, extra burden on The State, but where do you draw the line?

gamble is getting nuttier every time he posts. I was disgusted by his post about the jockey that drowned. gamble had googled a load of info about rip tides and based his post around that. He obviously didn’t give much thought to Chris Caserta.

I saw a programme once about them and it’s amazing how many people ignore rip tide warning signs on beaches. It’s the sort of thing I try to remember ( even though I’d never go in the water anyway cause I can’t swim) in the same way that, when my daughter planned a trip to America years ago I read up on what to do when confronted by a bear so I could warn her. I still can’t remember if you’re supposed to run or freeze, though ( need to look it up again).
A line has to be drawn as someone’s been at the gingernut tin !
