    would ryan moore have won king george on papal bull,i think duke of marmalade would still have won the battle,but i am sure it will give him something to think about

    Papal Bull, being a bit of a dog, possibly went more sweetly for a different jockey. Certainly showed a better turn of foot than he ever has. No jockey knows just how much a horse will find. When Peslier went for it there was no knowing he’d get to the front so quickly. However, Ryan does have a good record on the horse.

    Impossible to say whether Moore would or would not make the difference.

    Papal Bull would have won if he was good enough. The fact is that Duke of Marmalade is a better horse. His class and resilience won the day.
