It looks like Romeo Magico could not be saved after picking up an injury in the Mayo National at Ballinrobe on May 27.
RP comments: “Towards rear, some headway into midfield 7th, weakened quickly and pulled up after 3 out (jockey said gelding pulled up injured).”
He had been running respectably in hunter chases (6th in this year’s Foxhunters) and seemed like a nice prospect for the yard.
RIP Romeo Magico and all others lost recently.

Slate lane too. Was supposed to be career over with tendon injury but not life.

It seems A Great View came down for the first time in a career of 49 races over obstacles at the age of 13. Did well in valuable big field hurdles in his heyday.
