I think he will have the Triumph Hurdle winner if that helps?

    27. Only Constitution Hill will prevent a total wipeout.

4 or less seems a bit extreme.
He’d have more than that if the boats went on strike and they all had to swim over

Is it me, or do the some of the same people who moan about how boring his dominance is also obsess about how many Cheltenham Festival winners he will, or won’t, have?

Don’t get me wrong, I find it equally tedious, but periods of cyclical dominance exist in all sport (look at football and the talk of Empires at Man City and Liverpool now being in arguable decline) and I simply look at his horses as individuals, not “Willie’s….” or “Mullins’s….”

In fact, anyone who ever uses the expression “Willie’s in the bumper” should face a minimum 12-month custodial sentence, served in full, with no hope of parole.

I think Mullins’s dominance would only be boring if most or all of the winners were with the same owner, or if lots of the winners were odds on.

As it is, they are owned by various people, he runs horses against each other and most of his Cheltenham winners are at backable prices even for small stakes punters.

It would be good if there was a bit more competition but the Mullins dominance is not a huge problem, at least not yet.

Agree with CAS, not for the first time and long odds-on not to be the last.
