one, as far as i am aware. being a bit of a daddy-hermit, and not being (and never have been being) employed anywhere within the industry, i guess i am a bit out of the loop.

oh yes, nearly forgot… occasionally i bump into Adrian at local point-to-points!

    :)

I was lucky enough to meet some people who are no longer on here (to my knowledge) at Towcester in 2001. Off the top of my head Zome and Katy (who I already knew), plus DL and LRM, Trigger, Viking Flagship, Sal briefly, Beaker and some others, all lovely, had a fantastic time.

Have sadly missed out on meeting the P2P guys Adrian and HJ but would love to meet more of you and preferably soon!

I haven’t met anyone. Despite liking most of the characters on here, I haven’t managed an RV yet.

Formite, 42, smoker, GSOH, quite fat .. would like to meet similar to shares lies about gambling.

Off the top of my head I’ve met 16 forumites but there’s probably a few more I’ve forgotten and will remember when my hangover recedes.

Played cricket against Smithy (good batsman – knocked a ball for 6 and took a tile off the changing room roof!) and Happy Jack (funky hat – dangerous bowler) last night.

Non Vintage and Happy Jack (with Sal) are keen on their pointing.

DL and Grey Desire are enthusiastic followers of Celeritas.

Not met ID but I feel he is Voldemort to my Harry Potter.

Quote: from Ian Davies on 10:33 pm on July 28, 2005[br]………and had graysoncolumn round for coffee.

Am I the only one who fears for Jeremy’s safety?

I get a bit of a Hannibal Lecter frisson when I read that. I’m not sure why, as Mr Davies seemed thoroughly harmless when we met at Towcester. You know, quiet sort of chap, kept himself to himself…..hold on a second, serial killer alert!!

    (only kidding, Ian!)

I’m looking forward to my date with Ricky Lake. I think he’s got something for me.

Haven’t met any, as far as I know. Most of my mates aren’t into racing so I’m fairly sure they’re not members. Might pop over if a gettogether was arranged. I have some great tales of huge gambles which weren’t landed which my wife is sick of listening to so fresh ears are always welcome.

Not being quite as popular as Sir Ian Davies, I’ve yet to meet any forumites, which is a shame as there are some amusing characters on here. Hopefully I will get round to meeting some of you lot in the future at some point. (i.e a TRF meet up at Exeter racecourse would be most welcome    ).

I had the pleasure of meeting Kotkijet(Simon) at Hereford races some time ago. We shared a juice or two and had a nice afternoon.

    Cheers Simon!!

    too~shay Ian,

frankly, I’m flattered by your description. Sadly I don’t get much chance to brood darkly and I’ve never actually lived in a bedsit per se, but I do have quite a small room, with little decoration. Hopefully all that will change, and I can have a big room with even less decoration. I live in hope.

    Ian,

I would be sad indeed if I longed to be loved by Lord Hartigan and his merry band. Consider my expectoration to have been tongue in cheek, if that’s at all possible with such a pastime.

Unfortunately, I got trigger happy and voted for "3" before remembering another 2!
