There comes a time when you have to draw the line with some horses …
During the Cheltenham festival, I decided to give Chapoturgeon and Ashkazar each a last chance to make up for the amount of hard earned dosh I’d lost on them throughout the season. I seemed to have kidded myself that they still had what it took win a decent race and restore my faith in them … but to no avail! And so I thought "That’s it. I’m finished with these dodgy donkeys!" I won’t be backing those two again no matter how much temptation the devil can throw at me
So, which equine excruciates have you pulled the plug on?

Twist Magic (at Cheltenham, anyway – I’ll still be backing him at other tracks)
Punchestowns (probably). Now just watch as VPU has an Indian summer, Twist Magic wins the 2011 Champion Chase and Punchestowns becomes (by my calculations) the new, new, new, new, new, new Arkle!

Also i will be supporting Lough Derg next season but i wont be backing him.
I wont be backing the European horses either on Breeders cup weekend as they seem at a dissadvantage to those on medication.

His stablemate Bible Lord has dined at the last chance saloon though!

Chapoturgeon
is only a 6yo,who for some reason has become a bit of a Cheltenham specialist.Good ground suits better than Soft but he is still capable on it!It is a year since his impressive Jewson victory off a very lenient 135,the handicapper hit him hard with a rise of 18lb to a mark of 153 and he just isn"t a 150"s horse yet,i still think he has plenty of scope for the nescessary improvement but to win in the next year or so he needs dropping 8 or 9lb! I lost on him too this year but i wont be giving up on him for a while yet!
TAPK preaches loyalty to his horses! Dare i mentionAlbertas Run
? Ladbrokes said after the race they never took a penny for him I got 25/1 with them!
