Lovely Lady, I have not yet got round to doing much analysis on this but this will be done soon. I have only been using the data to flag when a horse has previoulsy posted a "good performance" on a couse very similar to the race being assesed.
I may be able to publish an interactive public page for this work and let forumites have a play with the interactive data. My entire database is hosted on a web server and sections of this could go public.
Towceser and Carlise are certainly very similar when the ground is testing.
March 1, 2007 at 10:21 #41199Thanks for that Wallace, and look forward to hearing more from you about this in due course.:)
March 1, 2007 at 15:43 #41200I watched the morning line a couple of months back and the female gave her usual Tanyas Titbit, she pointed out Texas Gold’s impeccable course record on Lingfield’s A.W. track and whilst I don’t have the numbers to hand there couldn’t have been a better pointer for the afternoons racing as Texas won readily at a fair price.
March 1, 2007 at 15:49 #41202Up until that day Texas Gold had run 14 times on Lingfield’s A.W. and had Won 6 times, been 2nd 6 times and was 3rd once.
March 1, 2007 at 16:03 #41203I think I backed him that day, and I seem to remember Thommo (yes I know  ) ranting on about his course record… Probably the only time i’ve ever listened to the great man ;)
March 1, 2007 at 16:06 #41204His record over just 5f at Lingfield is even better. It reads 2112121221.
