Is there any way to figure out a horses posting position before the race starts? Just wondering if this could help you decide which horse to bet on….
For flat and all-weather races the horse’s posting position is given as the stall number. On the race card that’s usually in brackets and is given in all the newspapers and on the Racing Post site.
National Hunt races, of course, has none of this.
Try this site for details of draw bias etc
