OUTLAW TOM goes for the 3m 1f 0-110 Handicap Chase. Going is currently good to soft and Tom is likely to run provided conditions don’t becoming too testing.

May 10, 2014 at 16:38 #478685Decent effort in rather desperate conditions, staying on to snatch second place on the line. He belted the first open ditch and almost unshipped Peter Buchanan, then hit the open ditch down the far side. A bit outpaced with a mile to go he kept on down the far side and kept on to the line. I think Outlaw Tom is better these days in less testing conditions and 107 looks a workable mark.
May 10, 2014 at 16:47 #478686What a tough horse! He did really well to come so close after a couple of dodgy jumps that took all the oomph out of him. I thought Peter Buchanan gave him a good ride in that he gave him plenty of breathers between the fences and allowed him to save a bit for the end. Quite satisfying
