The sun about to set on Hereford – literally and metaphorically??
Although there are two consortia who are prepared to continue racing here if the opportunity arises.
Lets hope they find a way to carry on. These courses are the heart and soul of the jumps game.
Council should tell Arena to take a running jump and start negotiations with a new group now to get racing there sorted out asap. Surely, they have a get out clause in the contract too, and not just Arena who can say we don’t want to play anymore.
Arena don’t want to know so give it back to someone who does and insist that the meetings for Hereford are given back as well. Then they can race in 2013 while sorting out new/revived races for 2014 on.
