The rare conjunction of a blue moon and remunerative Sunday persuaded me to fork out on Monday’s Racing Post. Lo and behold and just like I’ve never been gone, there to greet me is the RPs very own page 3 boy, the beaming babyface of Our ‘Enry and his five-figure profits
On closer inspection I see this profit is still advertised as being accrued through ‘per point’ staking though the equally nebulous qualifiers of ‘recommended stakes’ and ‘at advised prices’ have gone.
Well done the RP one may holler, your flyweight regulation has moved up a notch to featherlite; but no, these indeterminate phrases seem to have been replaced by the truly mystifying ‘total bet very gradually’ and ‘total staked very gradually’ which may or may not mean the same thing, whatever that may be:
Level Stakes?
Cover to Win?
Fixed percentage of bank?
Kelly staking?
Retrieve staking?
…whatever, who knows? I think we should be told
