He’s been undergoing treatment for nine months and has only discussed this because he’s been forced. What a man! So much for the Moaning Millenium.

Awful news. Very best wishes to Henry and his family, for a full recovery. He always seems such a lovely man to me.
Henry is one of the genuine good guys in racing. A few years ago my and I spent a weekend in Newmarket. On the Saturday morning we went down to Racecouse Side to watch the Cecil string working. We were standing about 25 yards away from Henrey and a group of his owners. He walked over to us and invited us to join the group so we could hear his comments.
A true gent and we wish him well.<br>

Henry Cecil is one of those rare things – a true legend.

Agree with all the good things that have been said about him. A great man of racing who really deserves some good luck for a change.
