I was disappointed not to see Halfway to Heaven in the Coronation last week. To some degree Carribean Sunset upheld the Irish 1000G form, although of course Tuscan Evening did not.
Has HTH had a training setback or injury? With the Ballydoyle runners so on form last week, her unexpected absence was worrisome. Unlikely that she would have troubled Lush Lashes, but my Tentofollow line needs another win or two from HTH, and I’m pretty sure she could provide them if healthy.
June 25, 2008 at 18:56 #170095She’ll probably turn up in the Falmouth. I reckon Aidan knew he’d be hard pushed to win the Coronation and saved her.
June 26, 2008 at 15:02 #170221Thanks for that, Aragorn. Sounds quite likely.
July 3, 2008 at 15:38 #171542Halfway To Heaven is not among the Falmouth entries today. Must be injured. Anyone know?
Like Darjina for the Falmouth btw – think she has the beating of these if the ground is not too bad. Weather forecast dodgy.
July 3, 2008 at 17:57 #171568Is she entered in the Irish Oaks?
July 3, 2008 at 18:22 #171570Considering her sire, dam and dam sire all won the King’s Stand, I’d suggest she’s likely to prove best up to 1m.
