It is the final on Saturday night and it could be one for the ages.

Can De Lahdedah become only the fifth dog to win back to back Derbys? Or can Bockos Diamond add the English title to the Irish Derby he won last year? Or will one of the other 4 runners win? All are very capable of running big races.

A 15 race card from Towcester tomorrow, with the main event off at 9.15pm. Full coverage on the Gone To The Dogs YouTube channel.

Droopys Plunge won from Trap 1, at 10/1. A great result for the layers.

De Lahdedah made a valiant effort but could only finish second from a difficult draw.

Bockos Diamond didn’t ping the lids. He ran a brave race to get to the front but had no answer to the late surge by the winner, the only British based runner in the final.

The coverage on YouTube was very good for the most part and Dani Jackson was a good host. She knows her stuff on the dogs and the horses and is far better than many of the ITV/RTV pundits.
