Ill have the favourite in this. Ill be getting on this weekend. I cant see anything in this race beating FUSIL RAFFLES at 2miles other then a proper good one (which im not seeing). Of the 2 runs ive seen im a big fan of the way he finishes his races very powerfully
October 30, 2019 at 21:53 #1473329I think if the same Fusil Raffles runs here, which ran at Punchestown, then he wins.
14/1 is a very good price, and I have taken that.
November 2, 2019 at 14:56 #1473724Finally took Lisp, very happy with that.
King thinking about one run over hurdles before fences, but I hope he has a rethink…..
Lisp 40’s EW
November 6, 2019 at 14:11 #1474209Project Bluebook and Mohaayed are two favourites, but I think that they are both a pair I can at least wait on till the day. I should add that I have had more luck with Mohaayed than Project Bluebook.
I know that he’ll have a big weight in this, but I find Brain Power very appealing at 20-1.
November 11, 2019 at 17:29 #1474618No Lisp then, but hardly a massive shock. To be fair to Alan King, he always said just the one over Hurdles, before fences, but I thought it was worth the risk that he would change his mind after that Ascot run.
As it is, the race has cut up just a little.
I like a decent bet in this, but my main fancy now, Gumball, has been hit with a rise, which just concerns me a bit, so it’ll probably be moderate bets only.
I’ll bet a couple, and it’ll be two from this quintet…..
Gumball 10’s
Quel Destin 12’s
Mohaayed 20’s
Project Bluebook 20’s
Grapevine 50’sNovember 12, 2019 at 10:07 #1474635Two horse race for me, between Harambe and Quel Destin
November 12, 2019 at 10:11 #1474637Alan King has reported that Harambe has had a setback and is a far from certain runner.
November 14, 2019 at 07:17 #1474768Really fancy Quoi De Neuf EW for this, and have been backing him EW from 33s down to 16s in singles and EW multiples.
I have smashed him, and got a small fortune on him.
Loved his prep run at chepstow, behind Speed Company, who was chucked in on his flat rating. His hurdle form last year behind Good Boy bobby looks very good. My worry is he might get tapped for toe, but he stays very and has a very good attitude. This race might become abit of a slog, the more rain the better for him, hes handicapped to go very close.
He ticks all the boxes, he is unexposed, goes well on soft ground, has a low racing weight, Evan Williams had a few recent winners. There is a lot to like.
I still think hes over priced at 16s. He my NAP for the three days
Good Luck All happy Punting
November 14, 2019 at 21:50 #1474855On this ground cant see many coming from the back getting into the race
So you’ll want something that loves soft and will be prominently ridden
Quel destin is the one that jumps out at this stage
November 15, 2019 at 17:36 #1475009It has to be Harambe for me at 16-1. I will definitely stick with him here ew.
November 15, 2019 at 20:08 #1475018Going to stick with Quel Destin here as the main bet. He was on the initial shortlist, so happy that he’s still here, and I’ll take the 10’s.
Not as big a betting race as I thought it would be for me, and I’ll split the remainder of my Stakes between Gumball and Mohaayed each way.
November 15, 2019 at 21:35 #1475028Done Quel Distin the other day at 12’s
Think he’d have gone close if taken his chance at Wincanton the other day, should be bang there in this oneBlackbeard to conquer the World
November 16, 2019 at 20:10 #1475175This race looks difficult to solve.
November 16, 2019 at 20:32 #1475176Its about time Nicky won this so have plumped for Dame De Compagnie. The signs are that she is raring to go for this, will like the ground and fingers crossed she can travel as sweetly as she has done since her time on these shores.
November 17, 2019 at 09:49 #1475195I’ll throw a dart at Quoi De Neuf ew 6 places.
November 17, 2019 at 12:05 #1475203Backing all of Dan Skeltons as assume he’s running Mohaayed to keep the weight down for his others [and always back Mohaayed anyway; Bridget seems to get on well with the horse]. And Dame de Compagnie as I always back horses that are coming back from a lay off…[which probably means I should look at Counister also]
November 17, 2019 at 14:46 #1475220Quel Destin
