Sporting Life reports that Great Endeavour has suffered a fatal injury whilst in his field on his summer holidays. RIP Lad

April 20, 2012 at 17:23 #401547Just home to this awful news – I have a soft spot for greys anyway but he was one of my favourites for his performances as well … how awful for whoever found him in his field with a broken leg – hope he wasn’t in pain for too long. RIP lovely lad.

PS I think the Racing Post could have found a nicer photo of him flying a fence rather than the one they have used …

I really liked Great Endeavour and thought he could yet improve to win a major non-handicap as he continued to mature.
