Patsy Hall, Over The Creek and Ungaro are arguably the most notable, along with Irish National runner-up Royal County Star and the Paul Nicholls-trained Royal Auclair.
Billyvoddan, Knight Legend, Always Waining, Homer Wells, Ursumman, Cool Running, Oscar India, Final Act, Juful Tennis, Patman Du Charmil and the ill-fated Alexander Taipan have also been taken out.
99 still declared 40 runners
March 31, 2008 at 16:22 #154767and most of those in positions 41 – 99 are only in because they will get some of their money back if they end up being balloted out!!!
March 31, 2008 at 17:04 #154777does anyone know where the current cut off point is?
March 31, 2008 at 17:15 #154781I think Black Apalachi is in position 40 just now, with Philson Run in 41st; but of those guaranteed a run at present, Hi Cloy, No Full and Naunton Brook are regarded as doubtful starters.
