Like the look of lisp for this, backed him a few weeks ago and tempted to go in again after today

Thought he was given a handicap mark protecting ride today, was very surprised to see a horse who is usually held up make the running and then the jockey was very gentle with him at the end not hitting him with the stick

They even ran him in a race at plumpton to qualify him for a £60,000 bonus if he wins a chase at the festival

Already on nrnb at 14/1 but tempted to go in again at 20/1 without the offer

Definite chance FF, was keen on him for The Greatwood, I thought he was a big player, but always caught my attention that they went Chasing straight away.

I was mad keen on Brelan D’As for this, he’s my idea of the winner, but he got tipped up by David Jennings on the RP Podcast last week, and the 33’s disappeared immediately. My own fault, he’d been 33’s for weeks, and as I’m being more cautious this year with my Antepost bets, I missed it.

He’s still a serious fancy, but in no rush to bet him right now, though the 25’s with Bet365 is fair.

Others I’m looking at are Ex Patriot and Garde La Victoire.

“Like the look of lisp for this…”

I would say that the same stable’s Deyrann De Carjac would be of more interest- he hasn’t got home over two and a half miles the last twice but travels strongly and jumps well.

Unfortunately, the fact that Alan King hasn’t had a festival winner since Uxizandre five years ago tempers enthusiasm somewhat and I also believe that they’re aiming Deyrann at the novices’ handicap, which is the wrong race for him.

I took that 25’s for Brelan D’As. He’ll surely go here, so might as well take the chance without NRNB

Added one more here, as it looks like Brelan could go for The Plate, so went with Whatswrongwithu at 33’s, and 25’s NRNB.

Ran a strange race in it last year, but enough to offer encouragement, and he’ll be on a much better mark.

Strange one, I’d prefer him here, NRNB saves the day yet again.

I’ll look at him in The Plate, but not convinced.

I like Eclair De Beaufeu here at 7/1. Winner of the handicap at the Dublin Festival and earlier in the season he was only beaten a few lengts by Notebook. Also added Great Field at 30/1. Big risk considering his jumping, but he sure has ability.

Eclair De Beaufeu was a bit unlucky with the mistake of Janmaat in front of him, but I think Chosen Mate was too strong anyway.
