Really sad news that he died suddenly at exercise this morning. He was entered to run in the Gladness Stakes on Saturday. What a career he’s had. his connections must be devastated. R.I.P.

So sad to hear of his loss, another superstar gone, condolences to all connections. He was so loved, and enjoying himself to the end. What a character he had, to have overcome that early injury. A legend of a horse.
    RIP.

Report says he collapsed and died after a piece of routine work.

Loved this horse and so sad to see his name here today. He was so loved by everyone and I was looking forward to seeing him run again, he always gave his all and he deserves a race named in his honour.
    RIP Gordon Lord Byron
