Well done to John Gooch for some amazing tips over the past 5 days a well deserved winner of this competition.. Also brilliant scores from The Krypton Factor and Jack all putting in great scores on the last day.

Many thanks to Nathan for running this once again…I had the Champagne at the ready Nathan as my money was on you to win this for yourself this year, but like most of my best bets this week it went the way of the bookies satchel.

and finally….Raymo you are a true star for stepping in over the last couple of days and keeping the scoring up to date and I’ll forgive you for beating me by 4 points if you promise to share some of the cakes you won from Mrs Raymo..

Hello to everybody, and a big thank you for your kind and generous comments
after the Goodwood competition.

After being placed in the Royal Ascot event, my target was to finish first
at one of these big meeting, so I have to say that I am really pleased to
have done it at the next try. I am not sure that there is all that much between
us in terms of selections, and we all need a slice of good fortune to win.

Again thanks to Nathan and Raymo for their hard work in making it possible
and I look forward to the next challenge.
