Lets have a look at this Irish 1000gns then,- right, Wild wind beats Laughing Lashes in June and Together beats Laughing lashes in July,Ok,Laughing lashes goes on to beat Misty for me in early August before Misty for me beats her in late August with Together 4th and Wild wind 5th but Together then finishes in front of both Misty for me and Laughing lashes in the 1000gns! Easy its

May 22, 2011 at 15:44 #356658You hardly did the tricast?
May 22, 2011 at 16:03 #356665Nice, Gord. Had her for £50, almost did a ton. My big interest today lies with Man Utd who would be leading were it not for some utterly abysmal refereeing. A penalty and free-kick on the edge of the area turned down, both clear as day.
May 22, 2011 at 20:12 #356707I have given Victor Chandler notice that the King will make a stand in the race named after me and he obviously wants to stand his ground too, respect to the man,but if he continues to put up 40/1 about a horse who is half those odds everywhere else then i am going to take them.
I see Victor chandler have finally cut
Prohibit
to 25/1,thats still a big price but more in keeping with the horses actual chances,i’m pleased to see money for him!
May 22, 2011 at 21:07 #356715This weekends results in Ireland have done nothing but bolster my faith in
Seville
winning the Derby and i am more confident than ever having kept the faith with Roderic and Misty. All this will he/wont he run business makes no sense at all to me,this fellow was born to win the Derby and i have supported him since last year at 16/1 down to 10/1 to £500,(not included in this thread),however winning is the name of the game so i have had another wager on him to do just that purely for the benefit of this thread, hows that for confidence?

May 23, 2011 at 08:18 #356751I’m a busy man today testing this latest R11 all white driver from Taylormade, its a bit loud so hopefully will suit me just fine,i like a 10.5 degree loft normally as i like to see a ball climb slowly generating plenty run on landing,i go through drivers like Howard Johnson goes through jockeys but its the club that gives me the greatest pleasure when i catch one right,we’ll see.I shall however make sure i’m back for the 7.40pm at Windsor tonight as i am going for a bit of a touch on one there,i’ll explain later!

May 23, 2011 at 11:27 #356772On form Seville looks a cracking bet Gord. I’m also on him ante-post since the start of the season. But is he going to run? Out to 9.5/1 on betfair now. Coolmore also have Recital ond Por Moi who are at shorter prices on betfair.
If I was choosing their destinations, I’d go Seville and Por Moi for Epsom and Recital to France. Two who should do better at 12 furlongs and the other with speed enough for 10 and a wayward tendencey unsuited to the undulations at Epsom. But that is not what the exchanges are suggesting right now.
I’d like to go in again on Seville, believe his true chance somewhere around the 5/1 mark. Don’t want to risk it just yet, as his big price might be something to do with his chance of running.
Although Ladbrokes (who’s Mike Dillon is close to Ballydoyle) can’t split the three on 7/1.

Thank goodness i dont have to make money playing Golf,i never hit one good drive on the range with this R11 and yet i still bought it!Back to business Ginger, you can hold your own with just about anyone on here, just about! If i was offering odds on the Coolmore/O Brien horses chances of running in the Derby i would go 1/5 Seville, there is absolutely no reason not to run him and Aidan knows he will give Carlton House the shock of his life but wont say as much, money talks Ginge,we know that and cometh the day Seville will be 7/2,to be a success at this game you have to have the courage of your convictions so keep the faith and keep taking the 7/1 e/w.No way will he be out of the 3.Just remember this Ginger.-

@ having to make money playing golf. oh, and thanks for your R11 review, maybe i will stay away from it now. however, me thinks it would be easier playing golf for money than picking winners at the moment……….
i do agree though, Seville will run in the Derby and will run his race too, i am joining you on there….
good luck chaps
May 23, 2011 at 14:28 #356802KF: Any news on the 740

What did you think of Group Therapys run in the Temple? Frank missed the kick or………. Ran a nice race in the end!
See Strike Up The Band is out this week too

Have
courage
King, back Seville WIN only.

When he isn’t a certain starter, it is risky to double the stake for just 1/4 odds a place.
You know it makes sense!
Value Is EverythingMay 23, 2011 at 16:11 #356829Deegs64 try the Calloway Razr, its very forgiving, the regular shaft has a lovely whip to it but i still use my Calloway Diablo in comps for now.I cant fault Calloway even their FTi’s are still awesome.GDC,there were 2 horses to take out of the Temple imo,one is
Prohibit
,who was just taking off when the race finished.Ascots stiffer 5f will suit better and the other is your
Group Therapy
,dwelt at the start, pointed his toe like a ballet dancer so if he gets fast ground wherever he goes next time he’s a serious player,he wasn’t actually catching Prohibit but he was going past the remainder with ease, keep your eye out for him.I’m just keeping my eye on the weather at Windsor at the moment by the way!
May 23, 2011 at 16:46 #356832cheers Kingfisher, i will see if i can try one when im at the range. currently alternate between my olf faithful nike sumo and an R9….depends on what day it is…..
May 23, 2011 at 17:31 #356845I have looked at this 7,40pm at Windsor several times today and i’m not convinced this Bated Breath is a 5/4fav,he is progressive but he has plenty time to do just that,i know he would struggle to get past the stables Genki, who is a reliable yardstick,if the official handicapper says there’s 3lb between them,i would agree at this stage of his career.Triple Aspect won this last year but i reckon it was a weaker race, however he ran a blinder behind Delegator at York and that form is rock solid,Horseradish will get a decent prize when he gets his toe in,any cut at all and he would have been a player.Monsieur Chevalier was a cracking 2yo,his run in the abbaye was top class for one so young and if he is anywhere near fit is overpriced at 14/1,however on a line through the fav being 5/4 and Genki being rated the better horse i have to stay loyal to the horse who has beaten Genki and at 14/1 is my e/w selection,

May 23, 2011 at 17:49 #356850Hi KF,
I agree with even and odds should have a good chance, but no mention of Libranno? Now receiving weight after giving weight away on his last 3 outings looks sure to go well? have you ruled him out on the basis that he is a 3 year oldcontesting a race of older horses?
Cheers
StaffyMay 23, 2011 at 18:27 #356859To be honest Staffy that is exactly what i have done but forgot to mention it,i do think he is a fine physical specimen mind so dont let me put you off if you fancy him.
