Wouldn’t want him to make all I don’t think, Gord, but certainly racing prominently. Memphis Tennesee will try to make all under Joseph, I’d have thought. However, we need Nathaniel to skip the race first, which admittedly looks likely. I’m absolutely delighted about how the race panned out from a personal point of view. Sorry about your bet, but you’ll get it all back and then some in 2 months. Hope you can wait that long.
July 15, 2011 at 11:08 #364759So SMS says today that Workforce will only run if there is a considerable amount of rain. There is a considerable amount of rain forecast for the weekend so that 4-1 is starting to look tempting.
Obviously if Workforce runs, Midday won’t but logic dictates that Nathaniel will as he is also ground dependant. Quite liking 12-1.
I’m going to be keeping a very close eye on the forecast.

We agree again Jonibake, thinking the same about Workforce. I don’t know if you were watching Get On, but it was my question to press Teddy G for ground requirements.
It seems Workforce will run on genuinely Good ground or softer, not good-firm. ie Midday will need the opposite to run.
With a lot of rain forcast in the next couple of days at least, I’d imagine it will be at least Good up until mid-way through next week.
Now saved on Workforce @ 4’s.
Value Is EverythingJuly 15, 2011 at 11:56 #364764Yeah an awful lot of rain forecast for the weekend. Have gotten a little bit more on with Betdaq at 5.9 and 5.8.

Good to see both Teddy and Sir Michael finally clearing a somewhat hazy picture Ginge,i dont like having to encourage them but both do need to realise this is a public sport, funded by such folk.it does annoy me when such like try to distant themselves from us mere mortals, however onwards and upwards is the moral of the day!According to my special Weather vane, its going to P*ss it down for the next week, that as most of us know is what
Workforce
wants,i being the director of instigating movements has decided to Get stuck in,you cant win a fight pussyfooting so having cogitated and deliberated the woes and wherefores of the Workforce/Midday Scenario,i have concluded that the risk is worth taking that Workforce runs,if he doesn’t i will get my stake back by Midday placing and the possibility of her winning is a bonus, thats how i see it anyway!

Workforce
£500 win 4/1 William Hill,King George
£250 win 4/1 Bet365, King George,Midday
£150 e/w, 16/1, Corals, King George.
£4375July 15, 2011 at 12:58 #364774Thanks for the weather warning guys. Reminded me I need to bring the washing in off the line. My better half will be happy when she gets in.

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
July 15, 2011 at 17:01 #364783The booking of Matthew Lawson claiming 7lb on
Evens and Odds
catches my eye in the Scottish Stewards Cup at Hamilton tonight worth 20k to the winner,at 16/1 i have to have an e/w interest as this getting to know you ride tonight could prove profitable come Goodwood, a staying on place will do tonight as he really has the big one in a fortnights time as his main target!
Evens and Odds
£100 e/w 16/1 Bet365 Hamilton 7,45pm
£4175July 15, 2011 at 17:49 #364787The 1945’s a nice wee race King. Was looking forward to going to Hamilton tonight, but got held on at work.

Good luck with Evens and Odds.
This race clearly the highlight of the card, and I was interested in a few, including your own, and Ginger Ted & Tajneed.
I’ve went for Lowther @ 33’s, seems to be "a bit out of form", but I’m hoping the return to 6f will bring about a miraculous change of fortune.
July 15, 2011 at 18:15 #364790Anyone for golf? The Open starts on Thursday and I always try to find a little bit of value. FWIW here are my tips:
5pts win
Rory McIlroy
– 17-2. If he brings his A game they are all in trouble. The new Tiger Woods except he has class as well.
1pt ew
Charl Schwartzel
– 50-1. Nice price about this years Masters winner
1pt ew
KJ Choi
– 50-1 2nd in the money list and ultra consistent
1pt ew
Fredrik Jacobsen
– 90-1 in form player who was knocking on the door at the US Open and then won the following week.
1pt ew
Ricky Fowler
– 100-1 America’s version of Rory McIlroy and a sure fire future Major winner.
1pt ew
YE Yang
– 90-1 another consistent Major winner with 4 top 10 finishes this year. 3rd in US Open.
A good day. All 6 safely made the cut – with the rain and wind on its way it really is anybody’s tournament.
Also SDS has just hit the front in the jockeys championship!!!

July 15, 2011 at 18:33 #364793I think we all know there’s only 1 winner if he gets his putting going. Today could’ve opened up with 4 birdies from the opening 5 holes.
July 15, 2011 at 18:40 #364794This has all the hallmarks of an American Winner.
A guy like Lucas Glover is pure class and a major winner. Dustin Johnson is only waiting his turn to win. Tom Lehman and Davis Love the 3rd are superb golfers and love the links golf. Lefty is lurking nicely at -1 he has gone about his golf with no fuss.
Jeff Overton back to form, Webb Simpson a real solid golfer, Kim back from no where and the great Steve Sticker lurking at evens.
Think of backing the Americans to win it around 2/1.
July 15, 2011 at 18:54 #364795Lucas Glover has no chance. No bearded player has won The Open since 1890. Should be 1000s.
July 15, 2011 at 19:01 #3647977k traded around 350 for Glover
. Oopsy for the layers. In fairness that would be a trend busting performance if he did win.
July 15, 2011 at 21:06 #364804Schwartzel and Kaymer would be my two at this stage although, tbh, it looks like anyone’s title.

If the anticipated rain comes you can forget any American winner except
Phil Mickelson
,you need a player who has the X factor to win a Major, thats why the likes of Lee Westwood,Luke Donald,Justin Rose and particularly Ian Poulter will never win one, they all suffer from ‘Montgomerie Syndrome’ (bottlers) when it comes to the big ones,Rory has been there too but to his credit he came back from a horrendous Masters to quieten all his doubters with an impressive US Open win,i wouldn’t write him off but if he gets greedy it will cost him.My idea of the winner is the mechanical German,
Martin Kaymer
,if he doesn’t get fazed and up to now he has remained solid and cool,he is the one to beat,25/1 and 7/1 about these pair would interest me if i was a betting man!
July 15, 2011 at 22:21 #364815Nah, Mick will implode. Can’t play links courses over 4 days. Kaymer yes. It amazes me why people back Westwood, Donald and Poulter. Hello, everybody! Wake up! They’re British! The pressure the media puts on their shoulders to succeed is impossible. The Brits are proper bottlers and it amazes me that people have faith in them.
