Great race by the way. Two super horses. Shame about the carnage with Ahoy Senor and Hewick. Fingers crossed both come home ok.
He is some horse. He did not always jump brilliantly but still came there running away and won well.
Happy with Bravemansgame. I think he has put to rest the idea he is not a spring horse and does not act at Cheltenham.
Pleased to see Hewick get up. That fall looked nasty.
Classy horse, was worried where Townend had him early on with who he was jumping upsides but the horse was so professional and turning for home you just new there was no other winner and drew right away after the last.
2nd ran a screamer but noticable was coming back underneath Cobden halfway up the straight trying to go with the winner.
Shame that the two-horse fall affected the race.
Noble Yeats staying on at the end; can he repeat his GN win next month?Top class performance from the winner, and very brave runs from the placed horses.
You’d have to fancy GDC to follow up next year; roll on the clash with Constitution Hill in 2025.
Hoping Hewick comes back none the worse for wear, the 3-mile Iroquois at Nashville in May is practically made for him. Alas, no ante-post for American races.
Goodness hope the fallen horses are ok, poor Hewick looked shell shocked being led away after that horrible fall.
Time fast by 0.54s, the true stayers ran off their feet, respect to Noble Yeats as look where he was coming down the hill and he got 4th…….wonder how much that will have taken out of him for the National though.
Splendid race. What a magnificent winner – and a great run by Bravemansgame too.
And a really nice Grand National warm-up by Noble Yeats.So relieved the fallers are up, I thought that was it for Hewick.
Was a very good race other than that, and GDC is a very likeable winner. It didn’t affect the result, but Conflated had plenty of traffic problems early in the straight and ran a huge race too.
