Yes indeed.
ANY man or woman with the ability to create jobs for folk who otherwise would have none, and in a welfare state like ours would live off the backs of those who do work, or in other countries would die in the gutter, deserves our respect. And George Ward was one such.
Sanctimonious? That is a word I leave for leftist pricks who think the world (or more precisely the hard working and productive) have some kind of duty for those not prepared to earn their own living even if, because of their limited abilities, or the circumstances they find themselves in, the only jobs available to them are low paid.

So by that rationale, pimps and big time drug dealers are champions of the community right?
There’s a world of difference between providing a job and providing a fair living with a wage that reflects the effort. George Ward was very ignorant to this truism.
