I normally view threads first of all on here via the "view your posts"facility. I saw the posts on this goal thread, and I was thinking what the @@@@ has he been doing to my thread
took me a few minutes to realise what was going on………one of my slow moments.I’ll dig a first scorer out today, and put it up, if you’re happy I’ll put the occasional one up too from time to time.
Never had a scorecast come up, though have "hit the crossbar" (oh the hilarity) a few times.
Best first scorer I had was Shaun Teale about 15 years ago for Motherwell against Hearts. Had a fiver at 50’s, as I knew he was the penalty taker, but he hadn’t taken one yet for the club. He duly obliged, just before half time, and they didn’t come out for the second half, as the game was abandoned due to waterlogging, made it by the skin of my teeth.
Also had William Gallas do me a favour a few times, normally at good odds, and Joleon Lescott.
Apart from that though, been a long list of losers…..I can confidently predict though, that I’ll halt the slide on this thread

I’ve had a few scorecast’s come in around the 25/30’s Djbril Cisse 1-0 against some foreign team. Crossbars were Danny Murphy 1-0 v Arsenal at 40/1 I had a fiver on and Arsenal got a very late penalty to deny me and it was a dive and I was at the game. Done Sammi Hyypia as first goalscorer at 33/1 v Juventus which won and I cant remember the odds was 100+ for the scorecast but was 1 goal away.

Me and my mates will usually watch the big games together at someones house with a laptop at hand for the in-play bets. What we like to do is wait for a close game that’s a draw (Chelsea vs City, United vs Liverpool etc.) and in the second half wait for a corner and get a quick next goalscorer on guys like Terry/Vidic/Kompany hoping they’ll get a cheeky header. You’d be surprised how often this works, especially when the games just picking up and both teams start really going for it.
Berbatov not in squad for Fulham. This has been a slow start. yawn.
