    Is in flames; can’t believe how upset I feel. I know the word iconic is overused but this building was and it was the heart and soul of Glasgow.

    It doesn’t sound very hopeful :cry: One of the most amazing places I’ve ever been to in a complete ‘I can’t believe I’m actually in this very building’ sort of way [The Sistine Chapel didn’t have the same effect/affect on me]. I’m now worrying about, not just the desolation of the library building, but what was actually in the library. How do fires take hold in such places; why no sprinklers etc etc?
