If it rains – Esoterique… If it remains fine one or both of Lumiere and Impassable.

Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2016 at 14:39 #1258684That’ll do nicely.
No more bets at Salisbury, looking at Cork’s 8:25.Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2016 at 15:21 #12586858:25 Cork

Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2016 at 16:25 #1258693I backed Harlequeen at both York and Epsom, but she’s always dropped out the back and can take a tug. So may be more a hostage to pace than most – and if the rank outsider doesn’t go on doesn’t look much on here. Somehow, deserves to be closer to the market fav and comes from the in-form yard of Father A O’Brien. Son Joseph and daughter Annastasia trainer and jockey (who can’t claim her 5 lbs, but gets on well with) of the normally prominently ridden, progressive Arya Tara – who knows how to win.

Thanks nwalton,
Could’ve been even better had the AOB second string somehow nabbed Somehow. Kicking myself for not backing it with the trainer in such good form. Still, can’t complain. Market told who was going to win and lose in the Salisbury maiden race. My saver Favourite friendless after I backed it, well beaten. Main bet Galactic Prince shortening up, winning fairly easily. Happens a lot in maidens.Value Is EverythingAugust 3, 2016 at 13:41 #1258754I know Mark Johnston is still in form but I want to be against him at the prices. Stars Over the Sea travelled with ease over almost 10f at Goodwood, not so sure 12f is going to suit him today. Particularly if Hardstone takes him on or they change tactics for the trip.
Mukhayyam is a consistent sort, albeit doesn’t win that often hence the each way. Strangely, better price available each way than win on betfair too. Beaten less than a length off this mark on both last two runs. Should stay this extra furlong.
Jam Session is lightly raced and although form is a little tricky to weigh up may have more improvement in him. Only started racing career this year. Cheek pieces on for the first time here.
Blue Hussar isn’t out of it, but seems more in need of others setting a race up. Doesn’t win often enough.
Hernandoshideaway hasn’t run well for a year, but you never know.
Hardstone doesn’t look up to this mark unless getting a soft lead. Other front/prominent runners here.Value Is EverythingAugust 3, 2016 at 16:07 #12587613:40 Pontefract

Days Profit +1.84Am aware the amount of take out (commision/dicount etc) by betfair is different for many punters and it is applied on the market’s profit rather than winning bet profit. But not everyone will be backing all horses with the bookmakers I’ve quoted either. Am counting every horse I quote as a betfair price bet as 5% comission on winnings.
