Oh Ssssssssssssugar! On good-firm and not good-soft… Muntahaa and Sword Fighter don’t now have the chance I thought, Idaho and Housesofparliament better than I thought. My betfair screen is getting complicated! I’d still want to be against Idaho at the price though and they’ve pushed Muntahaa out too much. Sword Fighter doesn’t have the chance I originaly thought – less emphasis on stamina – he’ll need to go a strong pace and will Coolmore allow that when it’ll be against Idaho? I’m changing Sword Fighter in to a saver bet and Housesofparliament in to the main each way bet.

I was negative about New Bay’s chances in the Irish Champion, Buckers. Unimpressed with his latest victory, hadn’t been at his best so far this season and wasn’t again in Ireland. However, far more encouraging, it possibly favoured those held up (not New Bay), could be better over further nowadays and already got a good run to his name in last year’s Arc. Can’t quite see him being good enough to win it but value is everything and wouldn’t put you off at all at around 20/1. I’ve had a couple of ante-post bets, but if around that price nearer the day I’ll probably be on too!
