What’s your thoughts on Black Hercules?
going and distance not ideal?Not exactly Nathan, but on the right lines. If it were soft ground the trip wouldn’t worry me so much; and had it been 3m+ good ground wouldn’t worry me. Combination of trip and going mean I doubt he has the speed. He’s also been ridden prominently in most of his races and there are other more speedy prominent runners; Bristol De Mai and Garde La Victoire in particular. Others also either track or race prominently. So could be outpaced early and how he’ll like it in behind – not sure. Has been a good jumper in the past before his fall last time, how is that going to affect him? However, strangely enough his best chance will be if they do go an overly strong pace and he just stays on past them.
One reason why I’ve done Three Musketeers is because think he’ll be dropped out the back and possible he’ll come through late.Value Is EverythingTo win any race at the Cheltenham Festival
