And good shout with Anay Turge being the pricewise tip
Not really Ben. If you look at the evening Betfair market and one that is not one of the favs has more money wanting to back/lay it compared to the rest… You can be relatively sure it is Pricewise.
That makes sense; good luck with today’s bets.
Really looking forward to see how African Gold gets on tomorrow too.

Is a slight question mark Sam. Won at Uttoxeter over 2 miles in similar ground to todays. Then improved last time at 2m4f on soft. Cheltenham is a stiff course and there looks to be plenty of pace in the race. So if Chepstow’s improvement was due to an increased stamina test, then he should be ok, if it was going that made the difference he might be in trouble. But if it were soft he’d be a good thing and not 5/2.
But just in case a saver:

10 points @ 7/1 (C) Indevan (min 13/2)I backed him when he won at Chepstow. Not so sure he represents any value today. Don’t think the ground is an issue but I would be concerned about his jumping and the likelihood that he will not get an ‘easy’ lead. Add to that he is a free-running sort and this could be a better race.

He’s a novice, but didn’t see too much to be concerned about Timesremembered’s jumping at Chepstow Stilvi. Don’t really think the horse has to lead, but it’s true, there is a chance
all
those up with the pace will do too much early (am hoping the saver will be dropped out the back today). Having said that, faster they go the more stamina comes in to play. Where’s the quality Stilvi? Unless the Nicholls horse is a Star (and he’ll need to be to beat an
on song
Timesremembered first time out) – it doesn’t look significantly better than Chepstow, and he won eased down by 6 lengths there. Admittedly there’s potential in the field, but on what they’ve done so far Emma’s horse has a lot in hand and progressing fast.
Value Is EverythingNovember 16, 2013 at 10:10 #458539Great call with Anay Turge
Thanks Sean, bit miffed I didn’t get the best price available, that’s what Pricewise does for you, though a winner’s a winner. Might happen again today with Bradley! Anay Turge likes Cheltenham and Bradley does too, ran well in this race last term. Looked on the up at the time, remember even considering backing him for the Grand National afterwards. Subsequently lost form completely, coinciding with the trainer’s fortunes. Now Fergal is firing them in again, 6 winners in last 16 runners and Bradley has come back down to a workable mark.
