On another subject I know you are a keen Timeform follower. If you don’t mind me asking how much does it cost per month for the package you subscribe to and what do you get for your money? I might be tempted for the flat season. Thxs.
I subscribe to "Timefoorm Race Passes" OD. It costs £70 a month (works out at £2.30 a day). Actually it’s £70 for 28 days, but you get the rest of the month free for paying by direct debit. You can try it out for free with their "Free race pass of the day", or a day’s pass at £10 or £35 for a week – see if you like it.
It is not split, both Jumps and Flat racing on one subscription. Was a bit disappointed at the time when "Timeform Perspective" finished (in paper, A4 sheets posted three days a week). Used to pay £30 a month for Jumps, then stopped it in late April to have Flat at £40 a month until changing back again in November…
However, the new computerised Race Passes more than halved my study time per race and well worth the extra money, more information and easily followed. A couple of minutes and you can see if a horse is suited by the going/distance. Write ups for every individual horse and every individual run. Not just a master rating, but performance ratings for every run, so you can see how much below form a horse was in the conditions. Trainer stats also come in handy for working out trainers in form.
My profits have sky-rocketed since changing to race passes OD, and wouldn’t go back even if I could.
You can find out more by going to the Timeform site, there are more pages/information, but here is their sample which shows the write ups, ratings information etc of a horse search.

Hope that helps OD.
