36 points each way (1/5th) @ 5/1 (WH) Foryourinformation* (min 9/2)Looking forward to seeing the Rules debut of Monbeg Gold in this race, wouldn’t be surprised if he proved the best of these in time. Very good racing today for midweek action.

It looks a really good novice race for a card like this THM. The fav was one of the best bumpers of last season if you can rely on form of his then trainer . Queen’s horse is unbeten and Henderson novices at this track are always competitive.
I’ve gone for the Curtis horse who showed a lot of promise despite being last of 4 here. Looks nailed on to finish in the first 3 to me (so he’ll be 4th ) Trainer is in better form now; something that can not said about Monbeg Gold’s trainer. You might be right about proving better than these in the long run, but am opposing all Jonjo’s at the moment.

Not surprised Ginge. No winner for nearly a month and 2 months since giving McCoy a winner (Ok injured for a while) but this is the O’Neill/McCoy form since their last winner on 15/10/14 :-

Jonjo’s form is a bit of a worry. I’d like to see him soon returning to form Homer, if only to get two of my Cheltenham ante-post portfolio (More Of That and Holywell) back to their best.
Think a few years back AP said on here there is a valid reason why Jonjo didn’t do so well (susceptible to a virus) in Winter. Something to do with topography of the stables (in a valley) if I remember rightly.
Value Is EverythingDecember 21, 2014 at 22:38 #499198Better day for me Saturday, with one main bet, one saver and an each way place from three races …Well, four if you include the ante-post non-runner loser.
Here’s hoping my ante-post King George bets do better. Menorah 16/1 and Al Ferof 12/1 with saver on Silviniaco @ 4’s.
