Won’t have much time early season so will concentrate on Group 1’s for a while.
I’ll include ante-post bets carried over in italics:

    22 points @ 50/1 Visinari DNR
    25 points @ 16/1 (FD) Mums Tipple

    1000 Guineas:
    33 points @ 12/1 (B365) Quadrilateral
    66 points @ 6/1 (Sky) Millisle (min 5/1)

    Cheers Mtoto

    2000 Guineas:
    22 points @ 50/1 Visinari
    25 points @ 16/1 Mums Tipple

    24 points @ 16.5/1 (betfair) Wichita (min 14/1)
Thought I’d already put Pinatubo up at the end of last season as a saver but can’t find it so:
    saver:
    78 points @ 10/11 (L) Pinatubo (min 5/6)
(if not yet on Mums Tipple I’d suggest a 14 point bet @ 39/1 (min 33/1)

Hi GT – will you be putting anything up in today’s Coronation Cup? I see Defoe hit 8.00 on BF – look tempting?

Ghiayyath shortened into 2.02-2.04. Backed Stradivarius and Defoe and layed Ghaiyyath to cover stakes @ 2.00

Did you back Wichita @ 16.5+ before it shortened up GT?

    Hi,
Did work out the Coronation Cup, Mtoto; but my 100% book was exactly how bookies saw it. No value at all. Wichita @ 16.5/1 went close but not close enough.

Struggling to get my house ready for valuers (estate agents) who are coming in next week, so won’t be doing much – if anything – this week.

Hi GT, Was hoping you’d be back in action this week but obviously you still have more important things to deal with. Good luck with the house move :good:

Didn’t work the race out to a proper 100% book, Nathan. Battaash miles ahead on form and Glass Slippers’s Abbeye form seemed clear second best. Although that was on softer ground and a few question marks on whether that form can be believed (stand out in Glass Slippers form and often needs first start). Battaash win and Glass Slippers saver looked a good bet. Especially with the rest tbh having plenty to find and not a lot between them on form. However, Liberty Beach was the one who probably had most scope for improvement being the three year old progressive filly – so would’ve been my third favourite. Liberty Beach’s price when I saw it was imo pretty poor value (late morning) but hadn’t seen early morning prices and I gather you got a lot better than that. :good:

You were spot on with your assessment of Battaash.. He was so calm beforehand

Yes, terrible starting price for Liberty Beach
I had small each ways at 25’s and 12’s

    After the Guineas flop
how do you rate Mums Tipple chance in the Commonwealth.?

Are you still a fan of Pierre, Ginger?
I am, but I don’t hear a single word about him

    Hello GT

I am standing by Pinatubo in the St.James Palace this Saturday.

Keep an eye on the Aga Khan’s Ridenza going forward.

She’s entered in the Irish Oaks at the Curragh 18th July.
They backed her when she won her maiden from 7s in to 9/4.

Halford and his connections are not afraid to have a go.

Dont forget she beat the Irish 1000G winner Peaceful in that maiden.

Mehdaayih gets in to trouble in most of her races.

She really caught my eye in last years Epsom Oaks. She got murdered in running. I saw something that day !

Shes a big price and if Japan wasnt in the race she would be 7s or 8s.

I do like her and hopefully Frankie gets a clear run.
