Yes, they were a warning that if they weren’t removed I’d expose you as a jealous hypocrite. I gave you more than one chance.

It may sound petty (it certainly wouldn’t matter for most people). But having given up my job, and wanting to be seriously considered for a tipsters job, the last thing I could do with is a couple of jealous punters casting doubt on my integrity/profits. Especially when one of them talks of "fact" and not opinion. Had hoped I could use this thread as part of a "cv".

    Thanks guys.

So you were a proffesional gambler and now prefer putting up doors.

    … In other words…you’re a failed professional gambler Gord…

Which is why you attacked me.
Because you’d hate to see someone do better than you did.
You know I am not a "fake, cheat and charletan" Gord, you just couldn’t stand the thought of me doing something you failed at. Because you’re an egotistal King. You’ve got to be the best and need to knock anyone that you see as a potential rival down.

You called me a "fake" less than two hours hours after I wrote about becoming a professional.

So laugh about my mistake with the two threads all you like Gord. You know I am right.

Ginge, when you are a Professional (Horse racing)Gambler you have to be sharp, you have to spend hours studying, you have to constantly observe Market Moves, you have to pick as many crumbs off tables as you can muster, you have to have the ability to see the wood from the Trees and manipulate Market forces to suit your own needs, you have to endure long losing runs and not let that affect your confidence, you must maintain and adhere to your previous successful ideals as Self belief is crucial but more than anything you have to take chances, sometimes even when your ‘better’ judgement is saying No!They are the times when you do pull it off you celebrate big time, bit like when I put up

    Fleeting spirit at 40/1

    to win the July Cup,

    Art Conneisseur at 40/1

to win the Golden Jubilee and a bit like

    Prohibit at 40/1

to win the Kings Stand,Now when you have History like that on here I might just give you a bit of respect until then If I was you I’d definately stop making yourself look like the biggest ‘I am’ on here as we both know who really is…………’I am’! Get over it!

I don’t see the problem myself. If someone has a punting formula, and it works during even this flat season, then fair play. As for books, who cares ? If you want something decent to read then go buy a Charles ‘condescending’ D*ckens book.

edit :- i should point out that when i say ‘who cares about books’, i meant who cares about being annoyed or arguing over anyone making a book. I see nothing wrong with anyone making up their own books if it helps. I hope Ginge wins against the bookies using his methods.

 Don’t worry Superman, I knew what you meant.

, Bushranger 22/1, Diabolical 25/1, Duff 33/1, Lesson In Humility 50/1, Strike The Deal 50/1, Cannonball 66/1, Regal Parade 132/1, Intrepid Jack 200/1

Can I have your "respect" now please Your Royal High-Horse?  And I didn’t even need to risk losing my money ante-post.

    A horse estimated in my 100% book as a 22/1 shot wins @ 40/1.

It’s about time you realised TAK, big priced winners are no good if you don’t have the over all profit to go with it.

Under my current staking system it would’ve been 14 points (not 4) winning 560.

    Agree with others that

    Excelebration

is not certain to go on the ground. In my opinion odds-on is ridiculous, should be around 5/4. That’s made a few others value (imo).

    If

    Carlton House

settles better than he did last time could go close. Proven on the ground and stays further. Second in the Prince Of Wales looked disappointing at the time, didn’t seem to get home but form has worked out pretty well despite looking as if a mile should suit. What price would

    Farhh

    (closely matched) be in this?

    Cityscape

    ran ok in Canada, winner

    Wise Dan

should not be under-estimated. Is more consistent than people give him credit for. A lot of horses take time to recover from Spring in Dubai and palpably didn’t stay in the Eclipse. Deaville second to

    Excelebration

was probably right up there with his best form. Soft form not quite up to sound surface, but runs as if it shouldn’t prove a problem and once thought suited by it.

    Elusive Kate

was unlucky last time, shoe came loose when stumbling out of the gate. Beaten by a horse with a more prominent position early on a day where it paid to be up there. However, came up short against the colts in France despite the run of the race.

I’ll be cheering on Frankel all the way, but both Cirrus and Nathaniel are too big to ignore. I’ve backed them both against him at a combined price of just over 4/1 (in my book it’s a combined 5/2).

Both are proven in soft ground and stay further than Frankel. It looks like being a stamina test.

Still make Frankel favourite, but nowhere near the price this morning.

I’ve got him in my book as a fair 70% 4/9, then it’s 4/1 Cirrus, 12/1 Nathaniel, 100/1 Pastorius, 400/1 Master Of Hounds and 800/1 Bullet Train
