With Slovakia now needing goals to be one of the top third placed teams it may have to open up in the second half. Can now only see more goals for Spain. So I’ve cashed out for around a two thirds loss.

from scratch, I didn’t get back through to watch the match until it was 2-2.
After that neither team were bothered to win just passing the ball about. I
very likely would have cashed out in the 2nd half when France went 2-1 up.
I was getting offered £80 with 20 mins to go at 2-2 but stuck it out and
got f all. What an idiot
A word of advice Ginger, if I may. I see you do a lot of correct scores. It is worth noting that ‘no goalscorer’ in the first scorer market is usually priced the same as 0-0 in the correct score market. If the only goal(s) is/are own goals, you will be paid out on no goalscorer as well as the actual score of the match. It’s rare but does happen and obviously check the rules with whichever bookie you use however you could effectively win twice.

Am aware 0-0 can be the same odds as no goalscorer with bookmakers. Just that all of my bets are with betfair. The times (which admittedly isn’t every time) I’ve looked at their markets 0-0 has been bigger than no goalscorer. Value Is EverythingIt has been a while since I bet on a football match.
But if say you’d gone for a nil nil correct score and someone put through their own net and the score ends up 1 nil it is a losing bet. Whereas is you went no goalscorer you’d be paid a winner in that event.If the odds for 0-0 are better than no goalscorer, Sam; just a matter of judging whether that bigger price is worth chancing an own goal. ie Whether the times 0-0 are achieved makes up for the occasional own goal that makes the difference between a win and defeat.
Value Is EverythingFunnily enough, this actually happened in France vs Germany. 1-0 France and no goalscorer paid out as Mats Hummels bundled it into his own net for the only goal.
If BF has better odds for 0-0 I’d go with that. Only worth it if the odds are the exact same in my opinion (as you cannot possibly lose out). Sacrificing bigger odds for the miniscule chance of a double payout probably isn’t (I’m sure you could work it out if you had a lot of time).
Occasionally no goalscorer will top price same as 0-0 from time to time, although it is rare worth checking.
