What ever horse wins this will be a very very good horse.
Blue Point very hard to beat.
Mokarris is a good horse and will run very well, his head carriage is the bad sign with him. (3rd)
Mubtasim looks a very decent animal to me but the shorter distance is likely to favour Blue Point. (2nd)
For people who dont like backing favs, back Mubtasim e/w and if Blue Point dosent run his race then you win, if not you get your money back.
August 19, 2016 at 18:43 #1260486What do you think of good to soft (if it is) for Blue Point? I feel he should be fine with it being out of Shamardal but can’t be sure.
To finish a neck behind Mehmas on only his third start even with getting 3lbs is very striking form. That’s the first time he has come off the bridle, so as the saying goes “He’ll have learnt plenty from that”
August 19, 2016 at 19:46 #1260499Tbh I can’t stand Godolphin but I do think Blue Point is pretty decent and although I fancied Mehmas very strongly I thought Blue Points inexperience cost him the race. The ground isn’t too bad so he should be fine. Mokarris won’t do anything from that draw. I rate Mubtasim highly atm but I don’t think he’s a 6f, same story with Fair Eva.
August 19, 2016 at 19:54 #1260501Intelligence cross didn’t run his race at goodwood for whatever reason and should be on the premises. I’d leave blue point alone till Godolphins form improves.id go for either intelligence cross or mokarriss.
August 19, 2016 at 20:04 #1260505Intelligence cross at 9/1 doesn’t seem unreasonable.
August 19, 2016 at 20:47 #1260511Mickey I just told you mokarris can’t win and you decide to back it. Jesus Christ you can’t help some people. Mokarris drawn stall 10…automatically ruled out
August 19, 2016 at 21:58 #1260523I’m with Goreisking on this one, Blue Point looks very backable to me especially now there’s 9/4 to be had. This is a horse who on only his third start finished a head behind Mehmas, albeit in receipt of 3lb, but what odds would Mehmas be in this? – I’d have your arm off for 2/1.

Wouldn’t you settle for just a finger? :)

Now this is really like just being down the pub and Gore’s just come back from the toilet to find Mickey clutching a betting slip
August 19, 2016 at 22:07 #1260527Gore, were you in Only Fools and Horses? :)
August 20, 2016 at 00:24 #1260565I think you got the fool bit right Joe!!
The draw will only be relevant if you pick the wrong horse to follow.
If you get beat drawn ten in a eleven runner race then you are clutching at straws!!
Personally I think Mokarris has a massive chance on both its wins and evn though it bombed out at Ascot that was on soft ground that a lot of horses didn’t handle.
August 20, 2016 at 00:52 #1260578I can’t understand why Global Applause is the outsider here, he has run in top class races against Mehmas, Prince Lir and Yalta at Goodwood (where he drew stall 1), so you can draw a line under that run.
Not sure how much effect the draw will have to do with this race, he is drawn next to Mokarris (10) and Dream Of Dreams (8).
Global Applause EW 20/1 Paddy Power
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...August 20, 2016 at 11:47 #1260636In what doesn’t look the strongest renewal on the basis of forgiving a horse one bad run I am with Ardad. I think if can reproduce the Windsor Castle run then he has every chance. Today’s conditions shouldn’t present a problem.
Blue Point is clearly the horse to beat but I would sooner risk Ardad at a double figure price than what so far has looked a bridle horse with a bridle jockey on board. There would also be a question marks about how the favourite has come out of what was quite a tough race at Goodwood and whether he can cope with ground anything softer than good.

Really are clueless, if I was you I would never watch horse racing again.

I am not known for backing skinny horses like you do and to be honest you talk the biggest load of drivel I have ever heard!!
This site is all about opinions and respect of which I value neither from you!!August 20, 2016 at 14:54 #1260708I think Blue Point has the best form in the race, but I think that at 12/1
DREAM OF DREAMS looks to have more improvement in him. He
could win this, but if not he’s a solid e/w bet.August 20, 2016 at 15:30 #1260715Nobody can touch this racing knowledge (best of all time). People need to back what I tell them and appreciate!
