Finding out the actual ground conditions for le francs is bad enough, ze Germans are worse.
I’ve been looking at the past few days of weather in Cologne and have predicted good to soft, soft in places.
DEVILS POINT for David Menuisier is currently fav so maybe it’s worse as it looks like he needs heavy ground to be at his best.
Taking a punt that it isn’t that bad, so have backed MAIGRET who won a trial nicely.
The classics have been tough to call but I’m sensing this’ll be between the top two but is that common sense or nonsense?

    MAIGRET 11/4

I’m taking a chance on Ten Bob Tony who was 8th at Newmarket and beaten around 11 lengths in the British version.
    He should be around 6/1.

Still no idea what the ground is/was but Devil’s Point just won so maybe pure soft. Then again, looked sub standard stuff, won’t be seeing any of these make a mark in Group 1’s.

It was substandard and the British raiders completed a clean sweep in Germany today: Luke Morris won both Listed races at Hannover and Devil’s Point the G2 at Cologne today.
I have no clue about their top horses, but they don’t seem to have that many.
