He had to be the oldest flat horse I’ve ever seen in training. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw him running just a few months ago. His last win (31 July ’06) was ten years to the day after his first ever run!
It’s a shame that after having such longevity on the track that the old boy couldn’t enjoy more of a retirement. Condolences to all around him.
