Fantastic news.

So, the cynics were wrong to prematurely retire him.

Gambling Only Pays When You're Winning
April 18, 2012 at 22:09 #401351Great news indeed! … wooooooooo hoooooooooo!

Every week I have to have my Frankel fix and watch his 2000 triumph and Sussex win. It really lifts the spirit. I absolutely adore this super horse.
April 20, 2012 at 22:37 #401598Goodness me he’s injured and might be retired. Ha haa ha so predictable. Optimum $ £ & € in keeping the mystique at its most grandest and greatest!!!!!
Not fit to shine the caviars bootstraps. Cream puff champion.
Knob – leave
I wonder do you speak so eloquently against the multitude on here that suggest SYT is overhyped too?
Or is it only when someone dares question your darling frankel?
If someone actually trained SYT correctly and lined him up in suitable races I believe he’d prove himself more than a challenge for frankel over the ascot mile.
Wouldn’t be the first horse to be retired with supposed injury and a big stud career to look forward to.

He hasn’t been retired though AIC.
Do you want me to send that humble pie you’re about to eat in light of your previous post over by air or by sea?
I like Black Caviar but if she stepped up to a mile she wouldn’t get within three lengths IMO.
Back at six furlongs it might get interesting but I’d still have him a strong fav.
Great news that he’s back in training. Obviously a fairly significant setback but if anyone can, Sir Henry can.
April 21, 2012 at 03:22 #401610A set back only because somebody pressed the panic button.

Same here.
For a genuine sprinter to step up to a mile, it always seems 2 furlongs too far in my opinion.
Green Desert was a champion sprinter of his year but was no match for Dancing Brave in the 2000 Guineas. Same thing with Dream Ahead – won the July Cup but was never close to beating Frankel over a mile.
Frankel’s last furlong in the Sussex Stakes would’ve been a match for any top notch sprinter. So I feel that Black Caviar would have a job getting to grips with Frankel over a mile.

I have yet to read a single contribution from you that is anything other than bigotted, one-eyed nasty and vitriolic.
You are a troll who clearly gets a kick out of coming on to a British site and degrading our horses.
If you ever bothered to ACTUALLY read the posts on here you would find that almost everyone admires the wonderful Black Caviar and would not dream of putting her down like you do our champion.
You would see that the vast majority had SYT down as a potential superstar and still admire what he has done albeit he has not quite met with everyones expectations.
You talk of Frankel as a cream puff champion.
You laugh when he is injured and say it is all part of some master plan to retire him not having the brains to work out that it would make absolutely no financial sense whatsoever.
You come across as a nasty little man and I honestly wish you would stick to your own sites as you contribute nothing of any worth on here.
I have tried to be more eloquent in this post AIC but I think I put it better the first time. Knob – leave.
"this perfect mix of poetry and destruction, this glory of rhythm, power and majesty: the undisputed champion of the world!!!"
April 21, 2012 at 16:02 #401668Frankel’s full brother wins his maiden today, looking like a fair animal too. Poor horse, what an act to have to follow, it must be like playing in the Sunday League if your big brother is Lionel Messi.

Fair enough at a mile,Frankel may have her measure, though she has only been to 1400m once and blitzed them, so that remains to be seen;but to say Frankel would beat her at 6f is wishful thinking. For a start he is not a sprinter and Black Caviar has had 13 starts at 1200m for 13 wins and 6 Group 1’s.And we are all allowed a little patriotism, and to have Frankel a strong fav at 6f is just that.Whilst AIC has made some comments that are a bit over the top and not agreed with, you have chosen to respond,Black Caviar is called overweight and overhyped/rated and all is well:)

Amen to that, and I’m not even a believer. I don’t even bother with him anymore. Makes some hilariously biased statements and then can’t even back them up when confronted.
