Form book race numbers

I wonder if any sage on here knows if the race numbers used in the various form books are uniform?
For example, does the Raceform form book use the same race numbers as the Timeform Perspective? Are the race numbers set by the Racing Calendar?
Any help would be appreciated.

Mulls, I am not in touch with things these days but they didn’t use to be the same.

Without knowing for definite, I’d be 95% sure they are not. Timeform Perspective also includes foreign European pattern races and also some US results and they obviously have their own perspective number.

the Racing Post race numbers are the same ones used by Raceform.
