Yeah, I thought that might wind you up

We’re untouchable now matey, Drogba is the best striker in the World, pure class
August 24, 2010 at 18:11 #314533Had another go tonight

£30 treble
Ipswich to win at Crewe
Crystal Palace to win at Portsmouth
and Southampton to beat Bolton, returns £517 (SJ)You never know
August 24, 2010 at 18:36 #314534Good luck … Carling Cup too unpredictable with teams fielding under strength line-ups … fancy a few more upsets tonight … Southampton wouldn’t surprise me … and Leicester big at 9/5 at Leeds.
Stand out bet for me is Swansea 1/1 at a very poor Tranmere side … assuming Swansea don’t make too many changes !!
Not surprised by the win for Leicester … and Swansea got there eventually … another five teams defeated by lower league opposition with good wins for Notts Co, Peterborough, MK Dons, Northampton and Brentford … Brentford (were 8/5) probably the most predictable as Hull would struggle to win away even if the home side failed to turn up … definitely a comp to avoid for betting purposes.
August 27, 2010 at 22:36 #314897Saturday’s £50 Treble as follows …
Some good value odds against tomorrow with Scunthorpe 6/4, Leyton Orient 6/5 and Shrewsbury 11/8 all fancied.
Best longshot ? … Bristol City 7/2 at Ipswich … poor start for City … conceding goals and Steve Coppell’s walk-out … but added extra firepower this week with Jon Stead and Brett Pitman.
August 28, 2010 at 06:38 #314910Good luck mate, right I’m off to get the papers and work my treble out.
August 28, 2010 at 12:38 #314935Chris, I’ve looked and looked but for me’ it looks too tricky today and I’m swerving it. I might have a few la liga bets instead.
Good luck with yours mate.
August 28, 2010 at 18:04 #314946Saturday’s £50 Treble as follows …
Wolves 11/8 …
Doncaster 5/4 …
Morecambe 13/10 …
… £4 line on the seven sections coupon in Hills today : Brighton, Huddersfield, Orient, Swansea, Shrewsbury, Cardiff …… and Tottenham 2/9 … good grief … £429 … thanks Spurs !!!!Oh, and Forest had a shocker today … worst performance for some considerable time … how can players look tired after just four games ???

August 28, 2010 at 20:32 #314973"Oh, and Forest had a shocker today "
Tell you what shocking is, conceding goals in the 92nd and 95th minute to only draw a game you’ve dominated against the league leaders.
The trials and tribulations of being Forest and Derby fans!
August 28, 2010 at 20:54 #314978Andrew, have to admit that finding out QPR scored twice in injury time did cheer me up slightly after the 90 minutes of dross that I watched today
September 3, 2010 at 22:06 #315809Balance c/f £300 (-£200)
Tomorrow’s £50 treble
Potential returns @ £496.13September 11, 2010 at 07:35 #317001Just had a £58 Treble,
Chelsea away at West Ham 1/3
Man Utd away at Everton 10/11
Tottenham away at West Brom 11/10
Returns £310.(SJ)
September 11, 2010 at 08:29 #317005Balance c/f @ £250 (-£250)
Today’s £50 treble
Potential returns @ £305.31

Speculative long-shots today …
Everton 7/2 vs Man Utd … the home side have been playing better than results so far suggestBlackpool 5/1 at Newcastle … need to see the home side again before they fully convince
Carlisle 4/1 at Sheff Weds … too long for a side that look to have improved since last season

Hoping for an improved display at home today from Forest although the general downbeat mood at the club and the ongoing spat between the manager and the board ref lack of transfer activity doesn’t bode well … talks of fan protests on the forums so defeat today could be interesting.
September 18, 2010 at 09:39 #318044Balance c/f £200 (-£300)
Dipping into the lower divisions again for today’s treble
Potential returns @ £412.50
Some competitive stuff out there today with surprisingly few odds-on home games across the divisions showing just how tough it is … expect plenty of aways today as a consequence …
Value today ? … Watford too big at 10/3 at Millwall
Pleased with Forest’s first away win since January on Tuesday night (especially as it was part of an excellent five timer incl Leicester, Hull, Palace and Barnsley) and can see them coming away with something from the KC Stadium today with 23/10 the draw looking the most likely outcome …
Oh, and Damien each way at 40’s with Ladbrokes this morning in the Ayr Gold Cup … very well named as he seems to possess the same sort of character traits as his namesake in The Omen but more than capable of being involved on his neck second to Markab at level weights earlier this season (the last time he was ridden by today’s jockey, Robert Winston)Happy punting
