August
12/18 = 66% SR
3.52 LSP
A little disappointing end to the month with a loser. LSP would have been higher if all bets were struck at the first show. but I have calculated to SP.

August 31, 2001 at 21:13 #39780Thanks MrE.
I nearly didn’t put the selection up today – in retrospect I suppose I should not have.
Still, tomorrow is another day and a start of a new month. I am quite pleased though that August ended up in profit. Lets hope September will be a better month and back to a better profit level.

August 31, 2001 at 21:41 #39783Matron… generally a pretty average month but we cant win ’em all…. I think its a credit to you that you showed a profit with the rubbish SP’s on offer. The main thing is that anybody following you did not lose, keep plodding on, cos it’ll trickle in nice and steady (hopefully).

September 4, 2001 at 11:16 #39798Hi MrE,
I hope your selection wins today.
It was either the 2:40 or the 3:10 today at Yarmouth – I must admit I am little uncomfortable with maiden’s and so I decided a "no bet" day. Better to keep the money in the pocket if in doubt. Things will start to pick up soon.

September 4, 2001 at 14:48 #39799Well done MrE.
That will keep the followers of this thread happy.
Lets hope I can find something tomorrow.

September 4, 2001 at 19:25 #39800Thanks Matron, I honestly expected better odds than that with Courtesy and Fallon teamed up against us. Ah well, I suppose we gotta be thankful for small mercies… I’m confident that we can keep the strike rate up but I hope the prices get better. I think Mr Ladbroke and Mr Hill are watching us and are "doing" our bets. We’ll draw ’em away with our flanker and young Darrell can nip in with his sting…..  :armbounce:
Your turn tomorrow Darrell….. ÂÂÂ

September 4, 2001 at 22:42 #39801MR.M
REGARDING MY SO CALLED BETTING STING ON YOU NO WHAT, A EVEN BETTER STING COULD BE HAD WITH JAMES FANSHAWS GLOWING IN THE 3.10 AT YORK.
IT WAS WELL FANCIED LAST TIME BEFORE BEING WITHDRAWN COULD BE A DECENT PRICE.
