Balydoyle team tactics win the day again

No chance she wins without the pacemaker

Sea the fire the horse to take out of it, be surprised if she’s not much the best of these when she matures next year

I didnt like the way See The Fire ran about again. Impeded Shuwari’s run in a straight line. Ylang Ylang impeded a bit and won. One would think Opera Singer is a better guineas prospect.

Had a feeling with the step up in trip and the softer conditions that this would become a stamina test and the placings from the Rockfel could very well be reveresed.

She did well to recover from being hampered and also becoming a little unbalanced in the dip but once she met the rising ground you just felt that she was always going to get there and she has outstayed the speedier types in 2nd and 3rd.

Her dam won over a mile at two and was placed over 12F at 3 and is related to a multiple G1 winning 10 & 12F horse and based on this run I think Ylang Ylang is much more likely to be an Oaks (be it French or English) filly than the guineas…..also likely to be suited to a more galloping track.

FF on See The Fire: “Looked very green could struggle to stay balanced.”

It certainly looked that way. She did not appear to handle the dip at all.

I thought STF looked to have the race won before the dip but as mentioned she ran green and once again threw her chances away at the finish, shame really.

I was totally wrong about Ylang Ylang she got back to her best today and won well. I liked the way all three fillies pulled away from the field at the finish..
Well at least Ian’s happy and I”m happy with 14’s EW she’s still my favourite. :rose: Jac

A few pundits saying not strong form. I agree regards the guineas but the winner looks a 10/12f horse. Opera singer looks well ahead of the rest of the guineas prospects but of course it depends how they develop from 2 to 3. Can see the first 3 winning group races next season. Not sure about how much the ground affected the result. They were finishing strung out so it must have been a bit of a slog. Really good race to watch.
