No not that one (rip Mr. Williams). Just received a message from betfred on my iPhone. ‘Double Delight half time heaven! Double odds on Djibril Cisse! 11/1!! Don’t miss out!!
Ok why not thought I. Logged in and attempted £440 to £40. Was offered max of £0.90 on. Why even offer the bloody offer, you can’t even deposit £0.90 it’s a tenner minimum.
Oh wait, I see……..
Account closed, conniving spineless time wasters. I wonder what the late ‘Fearless Freddie’ would have made of it?
December 28, 2014 at 17:47 #499799Djibril Cisse eh? Haven’t heard that name for a while – is he still playing in France somewhere?
That is a poor show though. Bookies should be very careful to honour max stakes in these enhanced offer push messages and make sure not to text/e-mail them to restricted customers.
December 28, 2014 at 18:02 #499802Djbril’s hit 2 goals in 15 games for Bastia.
I think the offer would of been for Newcastle’s Papiss Cissé.

December 28, 2014 at 18:13 #499804I doubt it was unrestricted to anyone, as it would surely be easily laid at 6-7’s on an exchange (not my intention I am not a user of these facilities)?
I think it’s probably a particularly un-subtle ruse to get customers to deposit and bet on something else, as they offered me 90p yet the minimum deposit is a tenner. And, during the quickest form of placing bets on this site, you have requested the bet, and deposited the required amount, prior to be KB,d apart from 90p.
Poor show indeed, apart from wasting my time and internet usage it strikes me as a quite despicable method of luring in excess turnover. I hope everyone else simply withdrew the deposited amount (waiting 3-5days mind), but no doubt some headed for the Casino with the left over funds.
EDIT – TYF and Nathan, yes it was Papa , apologies all these Sissokos and Cisses leaves me scoobied.
