    According to Teletext Fayr Jag was put down after sustaining a fatal injury when colliding with the stalls whilst being loaded at Pontefract today.
    It is a real shame as he seems to have been around forever unlike lots of other flat horses who retire at 3 so was one I had really got to know.
    I didn’t see what happened myself but condolenses to all connections. :(

    Seen it today on RUK, was awful to watch as you knew as soon as he hit the stalls he’d hurt himself.
    My horse that i was in a syndicate with was stabled 2 stables down from Fayr Jag so got to see him and give him a few carrots when i went. He was a beautiful horse. Be a shame not to see him on the racecourse again, RIP :cry: :cry:

    Really sad about this,he was a great old favourite.
