Probably is BH, no doubt Champagne Fever will be given a chance at 3 miles next season, but will he stay 3m2f? At the moment I’d say it’s 6/4 against.

Dont know about the odds. Have to say though that being by Stowaway out of Roselier Mare (i think), he must have an outstanding chance of going much further than he is currently.

I suppose you never know until it’s proven otherwise. But as stated, on breeding, you’d have to give him every chance. Particularly as one can find indubitable stayers such as Andy Pandy and Belmont King on his dam’s side. His late half brother, Presenting Forever, also looked like one who could stay at least three and a quarter.

And is it possible that Faugheen could even clash with Sprinter Sacre at some point in the future?

Possible but improbable imo. Horses being the delicate and unpredictable creatures that they are, these dream clashes rarely materialise. If Faugheen goes straight over fences, they won’t meet until Sprinter Sacre is ten. They wouldn’t meet until Sprinter Sacre is eleven if Faugheen has just one season over hurdles and by that stage, what’s to say they’ll be campaigned over the same distances?

Champion Hurdle contender for me. Reminds me of Istabraq somehow. I think it’d be likelier that Vautour, of the pair, would go chasing in the short term.
