    The commentator at Limerick needs to get a new job. He confidently called Farouk D’Alene as the winner but it looked mighty close. I thought Master McShee had won and sure enough, when the result came through it was confirmed that Master McShee had prevailed!

    Everyone can make a mistake but that finish was far too close to call so confidently. Perhaps Derek Thompson is right to leave it to the judge…

    Sorry, I am not buying that! They went past the post together and the winner was the horse finishing best. How can he say it was not close?
