Every now and again one gets a feeling: I have to say that Canaveral look good today in the last at Bath. Ran 18th April at Windsor with Communicator 2nd in that race. Has since won at York to produce good rating – backtrack the form to 18th April with 103. Race of this quality expected to produce no more than a rating of 45 (last year’s winner was about 30).
Handicapped for first time, with Trainer’s only runner at Bath and top flight jockey with only two mounts here.
It all looks too good to be true with 3/1 available.

Generally poor mid week racing, however this class 4 fits the bill.
Guilded Warrior is the selection having found a subsequent link to Tariq Too who won 21st May at Haydock (7f). That form backtracked equated to 155. Expected level for this race is around 130 so our selection looks sound.

Evening meeting at Bath, Ebraam in the 8.00pm has the form via Collect Art’s subsequent run on 28th May at Catterick. Backtracking finds Ebraam with 178. The race expects rating in the region of 80 so our selection looks solid enough.

Both Trainer and Jockey in a lean spell lately with plenty of 2nds but looking for those elusive wins.

    Hi
I have to report that the fantasy form – following subsequent runs has unfortunately fallen the way of many other systems. On a level stake basis, even with selected races, the losses are high !
    Back to the drawing board.
    Alex
