cambrideshire day tomorrow! although I think you’d have to be certifiable to bet in such races, big handicaps always seem like bookies benefits to me.
I really like fantastic moon in the royal lodge he’s a horse with a nice attitude and a nice middle distance pedigree. any rain will help as he’ll outstay them up the hill <!– s8) –>
<!– s8) –>I also think rodshu queen is worth following in the cheveley park, a talented and tough filly. as for the big fillies race, I think you’d have to go with elusive kate.
any thoughts? <!– s8) –>
<!– s8) –>September 28, 2012 at 17:55 #414451We’ve had no rain since about 2.0 pm. I’ll post in the morning to let you know whether it’s rained overnight.
September 28, 2012 at 21:38 #414470I don’t like the look of Fantastic Moon at the prices. As low as 5/2 I think he made pretty heavy weather of it last time out. Also, the race he won has had four runs since and zero winners. Steeler looks a solid sort, his race has also had four runs but four WINS. When he ran behind Dundonnell he looked as if a stiffer test would suit him greatly. I would probably make Al Waab the danger if it turns softer. He narrowly failed to catch Havana Gold (won again since)last time to complete the hat trick and I feel he is the type to improve with time and some cut. 7/2 Steeler will do me unless it turns really soft.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
September 28, 2012 at 22:33 #414479Elusive Kate has the best form on show in the Sun Chariot and will prove tough to pass, while Siyouma (narrowly behind selection in Falmouth) wasn’t beaten far by some genuine top level talent – including Snow Fairy – last time out and could reward each way support at a generous 9/1.
September 29, 2012 at 13:39 #414560dissapointing the way fantastic moon failed to pick up when they quickened, clearly he either needs further or is just not that good anyway.
still at least rodshu queen did the biz, what a tough filly she is
September 29, 2012 at 15:51 #414573More than happy Siyouma won, but I had Elusive Kate win single, Siyouma ew single, and an Elusive Kate – Siyouma straight forecast!
September 29, 2012 at 21:11 #414615should have done reverse mate
